Safety valves automatically discharge when they reach the limit temperature or pressure determined in pressure tanks and other systems for liquids, gases and steam fluids. The diameters are between DN15 and DN200 (1/2 "to 8") and pressure classes PN16 and PN40 (ANSI150 and ANSI300). They are used to protect the system.
